The Shark Slots
Have you ever dreamt of being a card shark? You may have never even heard of this term if you're truly new to casinos in general, but this game is themed around it. If you've spent enough time wandering real life casinos, or if you have spent any time in live dealer rooms, you've probably heard the term before in some context.
A card shark refers to a skilled player who uses deception or just their general know-how to win games of poker and other card games. For some players, challenging high rollers in a high stakes table game isn't their idea of fun. In fact, it can be quite an intimidating concept for newbies. This is why Card Shark makes such a fun slot game. For one, slots are far lower stakes and less risky overall, they require little skill and ultimately can be harmless fun. You don't have to play with tons of people watching you either. When you play The Shark, you can maximum bet up to 45 cents and you'll have a chance at landing an amazing progressive jackpot! Since this is a progressive jackpot, the actual value of the jackpot is dependent upon outside factors. With progressive jackpots, a small portion of every bet is stored in the jackpot until the jackpot is paid out. This game is played on five reels and a total of nine pay lines. There are also bonus rounds! This game was previously called the Card Shark slot, but was renamed The Shark.
Basics
This game is played with a fixed coin size of $0.01, but you have the option to play 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 coins. As I mentioned earlier, there are nine total pay lines, but all of the pay lines are adjustable. You have to maximum bet to win the jackpot, which is pretty normal in the slots world. The actual design of the slot has a classic feel. The logo THE SHARK is visible at the top of the game grid. The bottom of the control panel has an area where you can select how many pay lines you want to play with, along with the spine button, the maximum bet button and more. I liked the overall design and layout of the game.
Bonus Rounds
The bonus round is activated when you land three treasure chests on any of the reels. When this occurs, one of the chests will open and award you a payout. It's a simple enough mechanic, but very effective. There is also the Shark Bonus round. This is triggered when three of the shark symbols appear on the reels. When this occurs, the game enters a bonus. You can play a high low game with The Shark. You must select Higher or Lower than the card that is dealt on the screen. If you tie, it's considered a loss. Also, Aces are always high. If another player wins The Shark Slot's progressive jackpot, the jackpot will reset to $1,000 after it's won.
